Welcome to Saratoga Lake Sailing Club (SLSC), situated on the western shore of Saratoga Lake in the foothills of the Adirondacks just outside historic Saratoga Springs, NY. SLSC is a fun and friendly sailing club with an emphasis on sailing, racing, and sailing instruction.

With approximatly 185 Regular memberships, anyone with an interest in sailing may apply for membership to the Club. Our location provides easy access to the lake for racing and cruising.

We're a volunteer organization; most club work is performed by members. The Club has no full-time employees. While the house and grounds are open to members year-round, our sailing season runs from May through October. Club series racing is one of the prime activies of the Club and has been an important and enjoyable tradition. Races are held Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings with fleet regattas held throughout the summer. Visitors are welcome then to tour the club and meet some members.

We are an active club, organizing many activities and events, including:

  • Regular races from May to October
  • Regattas hosted by each fleet that draw sailors from around the north-east
  • Active Sailing Instruction Program with a multi-week sailing school run by US Sailing-certified Instructors
  • A sailing program for STRIDE Inc. an organization that provides adaptive sports opportunities for children with disabilities
  • Several major social events during the season, such as the season-opening Commodore’s Party, Memorial Day Champagne Brunch, 4th of July Barbeque, and Labor Day Lobster Boil

If you plan to visit our club for the first time, please introduce yourself to members while you’re there; we look forward to meeting you and showing you around.
